Arthritis NZ offers practical support through Arthritis Assist, provides education programmes and resources, advocates and funds research to improve healthcare systems and outcomes for people with arthritis.

More about us

We improve the lives of people affected by arthritis (including lupus, gout, and fibromyalgia) through providing support that helps people with arthritis navigate the health system and live well with arthritis. We also provide resources and education to caregivers, whānau, and healthcare professionals to help people with arthritis.

Our advocacy work and the research we fund, aim to improve healthcare systems and ensure better outcomes for people with arthritis - young and old!

Arthritis is one of the leading causes of disability in New Zealand, with more than 850,000 people living with arthritis, including children and young adults.
