The Auckland Fire Brigade's Museum & Historical Society Inc. collects, stores and hopes to display nearly 150 years of firefighting history in the Auckland region to the public in the future. we cannot do this without your generous help and assistance.

AFBM&HS was formed in 2010 to collect and record the history of Auckland's Fire Brigades from Mercer to Wellsford. The Society is recognised and supported by Fire Emergency NZ (Formally NZ Fire Service) except for funding which is entirely from membership fees and fundraising. Our future plans are to open a small fire museum in the city to display this heritage.
Use of funds
Funding will be used to update the Collection management software, collect, store and restore, uniform, equipment, photos, documents and many other items that pertain to our firefighting history.
