The Auckland RSA provides assistance to veterans their families and dependents in Auckland and nationwide
Auckland
The Auckland Returned and Services Association was incorporated on 9 June 1916 by the men and women of Gallipoli to provide practical comradeship: mates helping mates. Our 105+ years mission has remained constant: the charitable support of veterans, their families and dependents both in Auckland and nationwide. We also advocate for veterans to get fair access to entitlements under the Veterans Support Act 2014 (and other government entitlement programmes like ACC).
The Auckland RSA is the guardian of the Auckland Cenotaph and plays a key role in commemoration and remembrance activities at the Cenotaph and Auckland War Memorial Museum on Anzac Day and year round.
The Auckland RSA is a founding member of the RSA Movement and engages in the activities of the RSA Movement both at a nationwide level and at the Auckland District level.
The Auckland RSA (and the related Auckland RSA Welfare Trust) can only assist veterans, their families and dependents through the generosity of the public who donate at the Annual Poppy Appeal and year round.
The Auckland RSA is a veteran charity (Charities number CC39904) which operates in the Auckland CBD and adjoining suburbs. We support veterans, their families and dependents in Auckland and nationwide. The Auckland RSA is the guardian of the Auckland Cenotaph and partners with the NZ Vietnam Veterans Association Inc and with Auckland Council and the Auckland War Memorial Museum to do the Dawn Service and with Auckland Council and the Auckland War Memorial Museum to do the Anzac Memorial Service (formerly Civic Service) at the Auckland Cenotaph. We Will Remember Them.
The Auckland RSA uses charitable funds to support Veterans, Returned men and women, ex-service personnel, members of the Armed Forces of New Zealand, their families and dependants, who are in need.
