In 2020 our tamariki need the support of reliable role models more than ever.
We currently have 133 active matches! This calendar year we have had 165 tamarki matched with a volunteer mentor.
We had a big year in 2018! Big Brothers Big Sisters facilitated the mentoring of 173 children across Christchurch with the purpose of helping them build resilience and reach their full potential. In addition to the matches served, the Big Brothers Big Sisters team trained 40 new mentors.
100% of all matches opened reached the 12 month target! The average length of our matches continues to rise, at 1200 days (3 years 2 months). This wouldn't be possible without the support of our generous donors, thank you!
