Breast Cancer Support Service Tauranga Trust

  • What we do

      4 November 2025

Each year, we support more than 230 people newly diagnosed and provide ongoing care for over 950 individuals and their whānau.

At the heart of our service are Support Workers who’ve personally experienced breast cancer – they understand what it’s like and are there to offer empathy, guidance, and practical help.

    Our wrap-around services include:

    • One-on-one support from experienced Support Workers

    • Counselling for clients and families

    • Wellbeing workshops & social groups, including Lymphedema sessions and casual coffee catch-ups

    • Practical help, such as oncology massage, frozen meals, and essential items like mastectomy cushions and head scarves

    • Financial assistance for those facing hardship.
