More about us

Big Brothers Big Sisters Taranaki is a charitable Trust dedicated to helping our local children by matching them with volunteer adults from our community to hang out for one hour, once a week and have fun!

We have been extremely lucky with support from our sponsors and volunteers giving up their time since we began in 2007 & we now have 115+ matches throughout Taranaki - awesome!

Please help us continue to support these matches and create more for our local kids.

Here are the remaining funds from the Legacy Leadership Development programme of 2018. We had 6 graduates in 2019, and 41 over the 6 years the programme ran on Taranaki. Thank you to Lawrence Green who wrote the programme and to Tracey Christian and Zara Losch who cofacilitated. We’re stoked the funds are going to such a cool organisation
