Adults - Advocacy work, Parenting Courses, Self-esteem course, Practical Assistance
Children - School holiday programmes, Children's self-esteem workshops, Camps, Family activities

Birthright Wellington provides programmes and social work support services that improve the well-being of families parenting on their own. Birthright believes that all children have the same "birth right" to have opportunities in life, regardless of the situation they are born into. Birthright encourages families to develop their own strengths, be independent, set goals and plan their own futures. We work alongside families ensuring full wrap around social work support, which includes; Advocacy, Parenting Support, Practical Assistance,Children and Young People's Self-esteem Programmes, Access to Camps, and Family Activities.

Update for 28/05/2014 28 May 2014
We have moved !Birthright wellington are now fully operational at our new premises - 89B Thorndon Quay. We look forward to welcoming our clients to our new location which is easily accessible by public transport. We have a new programmes room for courses/client meetings and our new practical resources area is under development. We hope that our new practical assistance area will help clients in need of clothing /bedding /children's equipment access donated items more easily. Please continue to support us to get this area up and running and support children of one parent families.
