Blindsided NZ

Blindsided NZ

Supporting the creation of real-world tools, guides and support for people navigating vision loss in Aotearoa.

Nationwide

Vision loss can arrive suddenly or gradually, and many people in Aotearoa find themselves searching for clear information, real support and a place to connect with others who understand. Blindsided NZ was created to fill that gap.

We develop practical, accessible resources for people who are blind or low vision, including guides, tip sheets, courses and tools that help with daily living, emotional adjustment and maintaining independence. Everything we create is grounded in real lived experience and focuses on what genuinely helps.

Your donation supports the ongoing development of these resources so people across the country can access reliable information, practical strategies and a supportive community when they need it most.

More information is available at www.blindsided.nz, including updates as we build our new Members Hub.
