CanTeen Bay of Plenty (Tauranga)

Through our programmes, our Bay of Plenty members learn to re-establish their own identity, self confidence and how to deal with the pain and stress as they move forward in their lives. On diagnosis a young person faces enormous challenges as they struggle with issues of isolation from family, friends and school.

Contact with other young people in our region that have “been there, done that” gives CanTeeners the support they need. This is why CanTeen not only supports the patient but also their brothers and sisters.
