Cat Rescue Christchurch helps the forgotten stray cats of Christchurch by having them desexed and rehomed where possible.
Canterbury
Our main activities are desexing stray cats and rescuing, socialising and rehoming kittens. We also advocate the importance of desexing to the general public and promote the early desexing of cats and kittens before adoption to vets, shelters, breeders, pet shops and rescue organisations.
Cat Rescue Christchurch was set up in November 2006 and we have desexed over 3151 stray cats and rescued and rehomed another 2979 cats and kittens. So far that is more than 6130 cats and kittens we have helped!
