We rescue, re-skill, and reintergrate the young women if possible.CCPCR Svay Rieng offers counselling, education, health & medical checkups, life skills, teach weaving and sewing, agriculture, horticulture. Our main purpose is to keep them safe and educate them and prepare them to go back out into the world better than they arrived at CCPCR.
Our shelter has been open since 2004 and huge numbers of young women have used our services and some have left and got married some have got jobs in factories and some with the help of CCPCR have set up their own businesses in their communities.
We are not a charity but a school group who is fundraising to take a educational trip to Samoa in July.We have d 13 students. Our aim is to learn about this culture and connect/reconnect with the values and beliefs so we may better understand our students education needs for success. The students have taken hoilday work and have all had to earn nearly $1500 each to pay for their airfares. Any fundraising after that we have done is for gifts for the schools we will visit, and villages we will engage with.
