Celtic Pipe Band (Inc.)

The Celtic Pipe Band is a competitive band with a focus on piping and drumming tuition for young players and believes that through banding young people are given an opportunity to:

Build a team spirit and camaraderie, develop an understanding of commitment and pride, gain confidence through challenge and achievement and develop their potential as tutors and band leaders.

They competed nationally for the first time in 2010 placing 3rd in grade 4. 2012 was their second appearance at a national level where they placed first and were subsequently promoted to grade 3. In 2014 the band placed 3rd as well as travelling to Germany, playing in the annual "Musik Parade".
