The CVC needs YOUR help! Costs for rent, wages and services keep going up. We are constantly organising fundraising events, selling vegan products and running raffles -anything basically to be able to keep going. But it is not enough. Sadly, we are going to have close our office soon because we can no longer afford it. Can you help in some way so the CVC can keep going? You could sponsor an hour of wages per month ($15.25) or a week or organise a fundraising event or anything really! We just need our community to help our organisation continue.

Christchurch has New Zealand’s most active veg community. There is always something happening for vegetarians and vegans in Christchurch with many groups and events plus our annual Vegetarian Expo – an all vegan event which will celebrate its tenth year this year and is new Zealand’s longest running vegetarian or vegan festival. The organisation's mission statement is "To support people going and staying vegetarian or vegan by developing a strong vegetarian and vegan community, and thus benefiting health, the environment and animals". And that is what we do.
