The Friends of the Wellington Botanic Garden help look after this beautiful garden, one of Wellington’s most treasured assets.

The Friends support the conservation of the garden, offer a friendly guiding service to visitors and help out in a whole range of other ways such as tending a special section of the garden.

The Friends have helped guide the Botanic Garden’s development and care for this space so cherished by Wellingtonians.

We successfully raised funds for the Children's Discovery Garden. Make sure you pop in and admire this purpose built educational classroom in the centre of the Garden.
