Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) helps people know and understand their rights and responsibilities, to take steps to act on these, and to connect with additional community services they may need. The CAB service is universal, which means it is available to anyone who needs it, and we will assist with any question or issue people come to us for help with. The service is accessible - face to face, by phone, and online.

CAB Upper Hutt opened its doors (as Community Advisory Service) in August 1969. We have continued to provide free, confidential, independent information and advice to the community. Our aim is to empower our community so that they do not suffer through not knowing their rights and responsibilities.
Citizens Advice Bureau Upper Hutt is part of a nationwide, but locally based, community service that provides free, confidential, and independent advice, information and advocacy.
