Payment is by koha which generally pays for materials use and also to provide sustenance for those who are welcomed into the lovely Rose Cottage where we are open on Weekdays and the 1st Saturday of every month
Men, Women and children of all ages and abilities have and continue to benefit from coming to sew with me where they regain self worth as they tap into their creative ability in learning a new craft.
The difficulty we have is in paying for the rent and though we are assured that we will eventually receive funding we are finding this difficult and meanwhile the rent still needs to be paid.
We have a Working Sewing Machine Museum where all are welcomed to see and sew on my vintage machines with tuition and encouragement,
We are seeking donations to continue this cause to help those in the community unskill in their life,
