We're a collective of communications practitioners giving back to the community using our professional skills.
Wellington
We offer a free communications boost to community organisations to help their efforts go further.
We do this by matching community organisations with one (or more) of our communications volunteers, depending on what's needed. That could be help raising awareness of a cause or event, developing some key messages or giving advice on social media. We offer web usability assessments, run communications workshops and provide resources on our website www.communitycomms.org.nz.
Our vision is "connected communities for a stronger New Zealand". We are 100% volunteer run and currently offer our services at no cost to community organisations in the Wellington and Auckland regions. We hope to one day be able to offer our services to communities right across New Zealand.
Here's what some of our clients have had to say:
“…she was amazing and we really could not have raised the funds without her help getting the message about the event out." Neonatal Trust
“Matt was really helpful in terms of analysing our communications strategy and giving us pointers on how to refine and develop it. He left us with some fantastic ideas to implement, and written guidelines to go on with." Wellington Access Radio
“The match you made has been fantastic. She was able to give us a really useful assessment of our current website which is helping to inform our strategy and design of the new website." Parkinson’s NZ
It doesn't cost much to run an organisation on goodwill, but as we've grown we've faced a few more day-to-day expenses.
Please donate a little to enable us to continue to help community organisations communicate their causes and their work more effectively.
