Northland

Our Community Foodbank is based in the Paihia in the beautiful Bay of Islands, Northland.

We have been actively operating since November 2018. The Foodbank is housed under the umbrella of the Bay Of Islands Community Centre.

We are a non profit Charity community group. Our goal is to help others that need help with things like Emergency food, clothing and/or advice if and when we can. We operate on the goodwill of the Community by way of KOHA/Donations, Funding Grants, gifts of money, food etc from people that are willing to stand up and make a change to help their community

Families in Need especially our children or elderly should never have to go without nutritious food (kai), warm clothes nor should ever have to sleep in their cars.

We have recently started a Community Garden planting winter vegetables and we also are hoping to start other Community projects to help families struggling to grow their own food, household budgeting and helping out as volunteers at the Foodbank!

Spread the word in the community, we are all in this together whatever your story, we can help you or if not, we can direct you in the right direction
