Following the success of our inaugural event in 2016, planning for 2017 is underway! A return of Easter services, art exhibitions, Stations of the Cross, a family fun day, music in cafes throughout Easter weekend and a big celebration concert on the Sunday will finish off another fabulous weekend.
We want 2017 to be another accessible event- so the majority of it will be FREE. But things don't come for free... so this is where you come in. Think of it as blessing our community and our nation! :)
You could be a corporate organisation looking to support a positive event in our nation/community...or a missions organisation looking for their next outreach...or a church that wants to impact our nation....or an individual who wants to contribute in some way.
Help us to share our passion and continue to bring something really epic to this beautiful town of Taupo!
Your money will go directly towards items such as production and staging costs, family fun activities and resources, creation of installations, accommodation and transport for visiting artists/bands, event infrastructure e.g. portaloos & first aid, printing costs for programmes, signage etc etc.

EasterfestNZ Trust was established by the Taupo Ministers Group (a group of 10 churches in Taupo) in November 2015 as a means to facilitate the event Easterfest. The Trust is a registered charity.

Easterfest exists to celebrate Easter.
To creatively share the good news of Jesus Christ who came to save us and redeem us. Our desire is that people would come to know and love Him more as they experience His unconditional love and understand the evidence of His life.
In Easterfest, the Church comes together in greater unity to glorify his name.
