At Ellesmere Promotions Trust, our mission is simple: to bring people together through vibrant, fun, and accessible community events. From the Leeston Fete, which welcomes up to 10,000 people, to the Santa Parade, movie nights, festivals, and family-friendly celebrations, we work hard to create events that everyone can enjoy—without worrying about cost being a barrier.

But funding these events is becoming increasingly difficult. Grants are harder to secure, costs are rising, and yet our vision remains the same: free or very low-cost events that strengthen our community, support local businesses, and create lasting memories.

We are proud that our efforts have also helped schools, community groups, and local initiatives raise much-needed funds, while showcasing Selwyn as a vibrant, welcoming district. However, none of this can happen without support.
