Ellie's Canine Rescue and Rehome

Ellie's Canine Rescue & Rehome, is a dog rescue not for profit charity. Created in late 2019 by founders Vicky and Nicole , we recently celebrated re-homing 400 dogs.

We take in dogs from private surrenders situations along with working with many Council Animal Shelters across New Zealand to rehome dogs.

We also provide a community desexing program and community foods drops for those that cannot afford to neuter or feed their dog.

All of our dogs are assessed for any displaying issues then carefully placed into volunteer foster homes where they are taught the basics and cared for until adopted.

We neuter, microchip, vaccinate, flea and wormed treat all our dogs before adoption.

We do not have a shelter or base of operations/kennel.
