We won't stand by and watch thousands of kiwi kids go hungry at school...we feed hope to these children, one school lunch at a time.
At Feed the Need we believe that ALL children deserve the opportunity to learn, thrive and become amazing.
Sadly, many kiwi kids go hungry at school so don't have a good shot at learning. That's why we provide these children with warm, fresh nutritious lunches. With good food in their tummies they have a real chance of engaging in education and reaching their potential.
We've made and delivered over 255,000 hot lunches since we started in 2012. Last year (2017) we provided 82,000 lunches to 3,000 kids.
Our unique approach targets primary schools in high-need communities, where all kids at the school are fed during winter. Last year each child in our participating schools enjoyed between 20 - 30 lunch meals...a variety of freshly made soups, stews and casseroles with bread rolls.
Help us help these beautiful children.
We feed hope to children one school lunch at a time, so they have the opportunity to learn, thrive and become amazing.
We have made and delivered 175,000 hot meals to school kids since we began in 2012.
The great thing is we feed EVERY CHILD in the school and target primary schools in high-need communities.
