Fitzroy Surf Life Saving Club is a group of ordinary New Plymouth people doing extraordinary things.

Whether they’re a lifeguard, instructor, coach, official, administrator or fulltime supporter, the time given is an investment in the safety and well being of all who swim at Fitzroy beach. It’s an investment in life whatever the level of involvement.

During Patrol hours, there have been no drowning's recorded on Fitzroy Beach. We believe our lifeguards make a difference to public safety so they can recreate with a peace of mind that our guards are looking out for them.
