Imagine a community where parenting was valued and supported. Where there was a village to support each of us to raise our children.

Sarah arrived in New Plymouth from Scotland, with a partner who often worked away and 2 young children. She was lonely and easily overwhelmed, but on the outside all seemed fine. She heard about Flourish and came to Rants in the Park and found other parents who also felt like they were the only ones thinking parenting was way tougher than they'd dreamed, and who really wanted to find some friends.

The support, connection, and variety of offerings suddenly open to her opened her world and she now has friends she meets for yoga, walks, movies and even girls nights out! From parenting workshops, speakers and casual drop-in sessions, Flourish became Sarah's lifeline.

The TSB, Toi Foundation, NPDC, OMV and the Tindall Foundation have especially helped us to 'build our waka', along with other generous donors and sponsors, but we need your help to keep it afloat.
