FRENZ helps the Schools through the provision of the French resources in class.

Frenz School Inc is a non-profit making New Zealand organization operated by a group of volunteer parents.
Created in 1994, the Frenz School Inc. association’s mission is to develop and sustain a bilingual French/English education in New Zealand and to contribute to the dissemination of Francophone culture to the New Zealand public.
FRENZ opened the first French/English bilingual unit at Richmond Road School in 1996 and in 2012 was one of the first schools in the world to receive the label FrancEducation – a recognised centre of excellence in French education.
On the 7th February 2012, FRENZ opened the second French/English bilingual unit at Birkdale North School.
Bilingual French/English education is primarily aimed at Francophone families who have come to Auckland either permanently or short-term and who wish to maintain their cultural and linguistic roots whilst simultaneously immersing themselves in New Zealand culture.

FRENZ helps the Schools through the provision of the French resources in class.
We also work with the schools and BOT to create the right environment for bilingual learning and to establish best practice.
We liaise with the French government and officials to ensure the school and the teachers are recognised and supported by an international network of French schools.
We support the school to find stagiaires to help the running of the class as well as establishing a relationships with other schools in New Caledonia for cultural exchanges.
We manage two French libraries within the schools and are open to all FRENZ members.
FRENZ also runs a preschool: la Petite Ecole in 4 venues around Auckland. Open to all kids aged 3-5 – it’s a great way to prepare for bilingual school!
Our long term vision: To establish a bilingual French-English education facility encompassing preschool, primary and intermediate.
