We are seeking donations towards the running costs of our 2 choirs for people with intellectual disabilities - The Friendship Choir and Humdinger singers. Money raised will go towards venue hire, wages for support staff and musicians and musical instruments and special events.
The choir is much loved by the people who attend and we wish to continue to support people to make joyful music.
More about us
We are a charitable trust established in the late 1990s to provide music making opportunities to people with intellectual disabilities in Christchurch. We run two choirs, the Friendship Choir and the Humdinger Singers. The trust aims to enable each choir member to discover the joy of making music and the benefits of socialising that music brings. Choir members can develop new skills and confidence in performing for community events and our annual concert.
