Programmes

We seek to involve members of the community and volunteers in our projects at any stage, from suggesting ideas to the design, preparation, installation and maintenance of sites. In this way we hope to help connect people with their city and provide opportunities to have a stake in the city right now. Check out our video.

In the last three years Gap Filler has realised 45+ projects on vacant sites in and around the city centre. Our projects include a nine hole mini-golf course, a cycle-powered cinema, a transitional city audio tour, community chess, a book exchange, a washing machine powered Dance-O-Mat and our biggest project the very popular Pallet Pavilion.
