Southland Greyhound Adoption/Greyhounds Down South

We actively seek out ex-race / unwanted greyhounds and take them into foster care until we can find forever homes for them. We get to know their unique personalities and promote them on facebook. We arrange for them to be de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped and registered, and we find out whether they are compatible with cats and other dogs.

GDS was launched in July 2012 and has found forever homes for several very happy hounds. We have maintained close contact with many of the families who have adopted greyhounds and are delighted to see a vibrant community of greyhound pet enthusiasts developing in Southland. We officially changed our primary name to Southland Greyhound Adoption in October 2014.
