Grace is a wonderful little kindergarten in Ngaio, Wellington. Grace is fun, caring and inspiring.

Grace Kindergarten provides quality early childhood education, based on Christian principles, in Ngaio, Wellington. We enrol children aged 2.5 to nearly 5 years, supported by 3 full-time and 1 part-time teacher.
We are currently fundraising to extend and revamp our outdoor playspace following construction activity at the neigbouring Onslow Community Church (see photos).
We are excited that our children will get another 50 square metres to play and explore in, but we need to make it safe and useable.
We plan to do most of the building work ourselves through working bees, but we need to raise $18,000 to cover the cost of the materials as follows:
- Safety matting $10,000
- New storage/ play shed $3,000
- Construction materials (retaining walls, fencing)$2,000
- Wall mural and climbing wall $1,000
- Additional pay equipment $2,000

New safety matting installed in the holidays 12 October 2015
At the end of term 3, a voluntary team from Fulton Hogan prepared the new playground area using diggers to clear and move earth.
A team also built the new wooden storage shed, wooden steps and planter boxes.
Then in the October school holidays new safety matting was installed (see photos). We are very proud of our new playground area!
