We're a charitable foundation funding research into the big health and welfare issues facing Kiwi pets. Our research receives very little government funding, which is why we need your support!

We’re focused on the big issues important to the health and welfare of Kiwi pets. Our research increases the scientific body of knowledge that helps to improve care, and results in new and better diagnostic investigation and treatment for Kiwi pets. We also support studies into the value of pets to society, the human-pet bond, and we aim to communicate our important findings to the public.

Aims and Objectives

1)To promote public knowledge in New Zealand regarding the welfare, breeding, nutrition, management, health, diseases and performance of companion animals.

2)To encourage the study and understanding of companion animals in New Zealand.

3)To foster project or welfare work in connection with companion animals.

4)To assist with projects related to advancing the well-being of all companion animals
