Raising funds for Hope School, as the annual school Fair has been restricted due to COVID-19.

Hope School is a small rural school near Nelson, with a current roll of 65 students.
Every year, as our main fundraiser, we hold a Country Fair & Silent Auction to raise funds for the running of our school. Usually we raise in the vicinity of $25,000 or more. In 2020 the Fair was cancelled due to COVID-19, and this year we are running a reduced Fair with limited numbers attending, in accordance with the current Alert Level. So we have set up this page to enable people to still support the school, even if you are unable to attend in person.

Our school is looking to establish a STEAM learning programme, so for 2021 the funds will be used to purchase STEAM learning resources and storage systems. STEAM learning is an educational approach that helps children to intentionally connect science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics concepts through hands-on learning experiences.
