Wellington North Community Patrol Charitable Trust

New Zealand where everyone feels safe by working closely with Police as extra “eyes and ears” to build safer communities.

Wellington

North Wellington Community Patrol operated by the local community and raise their annual operating expenses through sponsorship and donations. We are looking for help from the local community.

We prevent crime and reduce harm through the active presence of trained patrollers. CPNZ’s vision is a New Zealand where everyone feels safe and therefore our volunteers work closely with Police as extra “eyes and ears” through intelligence and observation to assist Police and other agencies to build safer communities.

Community Patrols are independent from the Police but receive regular Police guidance, training and tasking.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
