Silas House

All money received will go towards the Silas House project. To create Nelson with a residential detox center and helping family.

Nelson / Tasman

The Silas House incorporated Trust is aiming for a residential social detox center to be formed in Nelson, followed by a internal supportive educational program for men and women over the age of 17 years. Silas House provides a safe, supportive, comfortable environment for people wanting to learn about alcohol and drug addiction and learn ways in which to reduce the harm caused by substance abuse on themselves families and others.

Our Goal is to provide Nelson with a addiction residential treatment center.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to provide a path for wellness and recovery and improve the overall quality of life for individuals struggling with substance abuse and related mental health difficulties.

Our Vision:

Our vision is to build a continuum of effective, high-quality treatment services and to become the first choice provider with a national reputation for client-cantered behavioral health programs that succeed.

Who we are:

We are a diverse qualified and experienced team passionate about what we do. Silas House is a charitable trust which is governed and run by a Board.

Silas House has a community focus and we encourage our clients to socialize together, particularly before the commencement of a training session, during breaks and after the completion of each training session.

People who may be detoxing or struggling with abstinence may feel unwell and may not want to socialise. This is perfectly alright and a couple of areas are available for quiet time or a rest

“Our purpose and drive is to provide you and your loved ones with the tools, support, information and encouragement to achieve healing of mind, body and spirit”.
