Huntington's Disease Association Wellington

Huntington's Disease Association Wellington

Huntington's disease is a genetic, progressive, neurological disorder and as such affects all family members

Auckland

Our advisors facilitate support groups, swimming groups, a youth camp, and an annual caregivers retreat for people affected by Huntington's disease. They also visit clients at home or in residential care and provide information to families, caregivers and professionals.

We have been operating for over twenty years in the Lower North Island providing care and support for those families affected by Huntington's disease. This service isn't provided by anyone else.

We have advisors covering Gisborne/Hawkes Bay, Taranaki/Manawatu and the Wellington/Wairarapa regions.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
