We're building a movement of young New Zealand who can, and will change the world. You can be part of it.
Wellington
At Inspiring Stories, our vision is to see young New Zealanders realise their potential to change the world. We're an innovative Kiwi charity working at the intersection of entrepreneurship, leadership, youth and community development.
We’re the crew behind the prestigious national event Festival for the Future; The Impact Awards – providing $25K in prizes to celebrate and support young people making a difference; NZ's social enterprise speaker bureau Inspiring Speakers; and the Future Leaders programme, which is changing lives for a diverse range of young people in some of NZ's most challenged rural and provincial communities.
Since 2011, more than 10,000 people have taken part in our programmes. Our alumni have gone on to win major local and national awards, step into leadership positions, and represent New Zealand on the world stage. Our CEO & Founder, Guy Ryan, is an Edmund Hillary Fellow and was awarded Young New Zealander of the Year in 2015. Half of our team is based in Wellington, with the other half based on the ground in Ōpōtiki, Whakatāne, Kaikohe, Whangarei, and Greymouth.
Your generosity helps to provide life-changing opportunities and scholarship support for young New Zealanders. Please feel free to get in touch. Thanks for backing young New Zealanders!
