The St John's College (Hamilton) Foundation seeks to grow its endowment fund to generate resources that can be used to advance the College.
Waikato
The St John's College (Hamilton) Foundation's core objective is to maximise private resources for the College so that we can expand on the last four decades of excellence.
A core goal is the continued growth of the Foundation's endowment fund.
The focus of this endowment fund is to generate resources that can be used to advance the College's educational mission.
This will mean that our young men will continue to be taught in an environment that develops their own unique individual abilities and develops a deep respect for intellectual and cultural values.
The St John’s College (Hamilton) Foundation Trust invites old boys to support the Foundation to:
- Help ensure that St John’s College continues to develop in terms of its academic, sporting and cultural achievements
- Support improvements and additions to College facilities
- Allow students who would otherwise not be able to afford a Marist education attend school here.
The Foundation assists the development of the young men of St John’s College by receiving donations, grants and bequests.
The Foundation was formed under a Trust Deed and has charitable status.
It is a secure vehicle to receive donations ensuring that the funds are applied to their intended purposes.
The St John's College (Hamilton) Foundation was formed in 1999.
Its major focus is the overall advancement and development of St John's College, working closely in conjunction with the Principal and the St John's College Board of Trustees.
Our vision in conjunction with the St John's community is to firmly re-establish the vision and philosophy of the Marist tradition and charism.
The philosophy installed in a St John's College education gives our students a distinct advantage throughout their lives.
