It's Plunket Annual Appeal time and we've got several events happening around our neighbourhood this month to help raise vital funds for our community.
During Plunket Annual Appeal (29 Feb - 13 Mar) Plunket asks New Zealanders to support Plunket in their community by giving Plunket a HUG and donating to the Plunket Bear Hug Appeal. All moneys collected stay in our area.
Plunket’s Appeal raises vital funds for a wide variety of services, such as parenting education courses, car seat safety schemes, education in schools, toy libraries and many other valuable resources and programmes. It also assists the local committee to fund the costs of the Johnsonville Plunket Centre, which includes services like the family centre, breastfeeding clinics and sleep clinics. We are lucky to have one of only two family centres in the Wellington area right on our door step!
These services all rely on community support to keep going. Your donation will mean families can continue to access Plunket services and together, help every child get the best start in life.

Johnsonville Plunket is part of the wider Plunket organisation and covers the Johnsonville, Churton Park, Newlands, Paparangi and Grenada Village areas.
Our rooms are situated at 19 Rotoiti Street, Johnsonville.
