Wetland Discovery Trail

Our new hands-on wetland discovery trail at Rotopiko/Lake Serpentine near Hamilton is now OPEN. We launched it on 11th Feb to celebrate World Wetlands Day and over 400 people came to try it out.
Activities include Eels and Ladders, Mudfish Scrabble, Mix and match wetland birds and more. The Ohaupo Lions Club helped us with installation, Te Awamutu Menzshed built activity station boxes and many other volunteers put in time building, painting, drawing, and designing. Your donations helped us turn this concept into a reality. THANK YOU.
