LawSpot makes the law more accessible for New Zealanders, particularly those in the community that need free legal assistance the most. Users of the site can post a question about New Zealand law. We arrange a volunteer lawyer to answer the question for free, and the answer remains published online for future users in a searchable Q&A database.
It is still early days for LawSpot. We have partnerships with lawyer and law firms who volunteer their time. We were founded in partnership with Community Law Wellington and Hutt Valley. We have answered over 400 questions already, and with your help we can answer hundreds more!
