Since we started in 2019, Lawyers for Climate Action NZ has developed a strong reputation for using the law to enable more effective action against climate change. We have:
- Won novel court cases to hold governments and corporations accountable and support the transition to net zero
- Supported community climate groups and individuals in their climate litigation and connected community climate groups to pro bono lawyers
- Shaped the development of climate laws and policies
- Worked directly with senior decision-makers to improve climate decision-making and advocate for more meaningful and effective action on climate change.
Your donation will help us do more. We have a small team and low overheads - and your donations will go directly towards powering our mahi.
