Linwood Avenue Community Corner Trust

Linwood Avenue Community Corner Trust has been operating since 1998, established in response to the growing need for services and support in the community of Linwood and nearby suburbs.

A registered charity for 20 years, we reach out to those in need by providing practical, low cost and free programmes tailored specifically for the diverse needs of the Linwood, Bromley and Woolston communities. Our philosophy of service is central to everything we do and is the basis on which we operate.

Recent years has seen the demand for our Emergency Food Bank service sharply increase and we are constantly needing both practical and financial support to keep this service operating.

We are committed to providing low cost or free services that bring the community together, helping those who are lonely and isolated feel connected and cared for. Through our weekly Community Lunch, Friendship Club for over 65's, Gentle Exercise and Tai Chi Classes we are able to support people into better emotional and physical health.

A range of Children's and Youth services address a specific need in this community for positive, focused activities for our young people that do not place a financial burden on families.

We are often asked "How can I help?" All money received from our awesome donors will go towards purchasing the staple items for our Food Bank, supplying resources for our community groups, sourcing items for our Christmas Hampers, providing activities and fun for our children and youth, supporting our weekly Community Lunch and will allow us to sustain the low cost/free model that we operate on.
