For 20 years the Supporters have been working to create Wellington's premier mountain bike park set in 250 hectares of regenerating native bush.

With over 40 kilometres of world class single track, a 72 metre long suspension bridge, and panoramic views across Wellington Harbour, Cook Strait and the upper South Island, Makara Peak Mountain Bike Park has something for riders of all ages and abilities.

    What an amazing acheivement. Every time I get there from the Eastern Suburbs I am more impressed. The regeneration and quality of the tracks is fantasic
