Donations go directly into building new trails, trapping pests and planting more trees.
Wellington
Since 1998 we've been working with Wellington City Council to create Mākara Peak Mountain Bike Park in Karori, Wellington.
We're a small volunteer organisation made up of passionate people, who are working to develop a world class mountain bike park in a regenerating native forest.
It's estimated that over 4000 volunteer hours are donated to the park every year. Volunteers do a wide range of work in the park, including building and maintaining the trail network, planting trees, weed control and pest eradication, plus many other tasks.
All the work we do is funded through donations or grants, so anything you're able to contribute is greatly appreciated.
The Makara Peak Supporters are creating a world-class mountain bike park with tracks for all skill levels, in a restored native forest.
