Manawatu Rural Support Service.

Manawatu Rural Support Service (MRSS) provides non-judgmental, non-discriminatory, compassionate, caring support to those in the Northern Manawatu.

We employ two Rural Community Workers (RCW’s) who endeavour to visit every home and family within our catchment on an annual and/or as-needed basis to ensure rural communities are healthy, empowered, connected and supported. By building and connecting with rural, isolated communities MRSS is able to identify issues that prevent people living fulfilling lives, and facilitate workshops, events and interventions that address these issues.
