Manchester House Social Services

Manchester House cannot do what we do without you.

We seek your support to raise $10k that will enable us to continue serving our community. Last year we provided 570 clients with Counselling, 669 food parcels to the value of $99,600 and 900 clients for Social Work and Family Support

Services we provide:

*Social Work Support: Manchester House employs two Social Workers who offer on demand Social Work and Family Support to our community.

*Counselling: We employ two part-time Counsellors who work with adults, children and families around a wide variety of issues and concerns including: relationships, parenting, mental wellbeing, anxiety and depression

*Financial Mentoring Service: The service is open to all, regardless of size and scope of the enquiry. Clients have the opportunity to work 1-1 with a Budgeting Advisor who will help them create (and stick to!) a personal budgeting plan.

*Emergency Food Support: Manchester House operates a 5 day a week Foodbank to assist people who are in crisis meet their emergency food needs.

*Methamphetamine Support Group (MAD): The group is focused on the needs of the people in the room at the time, who provide each other mutual support, understanding and act as an essential bridge between the intention to come clean and formal rehabilitation.
