Accelerated student achievement and engagement through a whole-of-community approach to digital learning.
Auckland
With strong improvement in student achievement being gained through a whole-of-community approach to digital learning, the Manaiakalani Education Trust and 12 schools in Tāmaki, one of New Zealand’s lowest income communities, are developing world-class building blocks for education success, establishing ‘digital DNA’ in a community that would have otherwise had little access to digital learning tools. Building on this evidence of success, the Manaiakalani programme now supports over 120 schools in challenged communities right across New Zealand.
We're engaging students and families in learning anywhere, anytime and at any pace, enabled by a personalised device and wireless internet access at home and school. Manaiakalani teachers are supported in their continuing pedagogical innovation, and accelerated student achievement outcomes are evidenced by an extensive research base.
