The Migrant Action Trust has supported migrants from arrival to employment to integration in Aotearoa since 2003. Your generous donation will enable us to continue our advocacy in building confident communities for New Zealand's new migrants, victims of migrant exploitation, and those vulnerable community members as they work to actively contribute positively to Aotearoa and achieve their aspirations for a better life.

The Migrant Action Trust (MAT) helps migrants and former refugees settle in New Zealand and become fully integrated into NZ society. MAT's three core programmes: Migrants Supporting Migrants, Arrival to Integration and Supporting Groups.

With your donation we were able to support two migrant job-seekers who urgently needed driving lessons for a job offer, as well as two victims of migrant worker exploitation and their families with emergency food voucher and essential transport. In line with International Volunteers Day 2025 celebration theme: "Every contribution matters," we thank you again for every dollar you generously shared. Truly, every contribution matters. Here is one thank you message we received: "I am writing to formally express my gratitude for the support provided by your organisation. The generous gesture at the end of yesterday’s workshop truly left me surprised and without words. Your support means a great deal to my family and to me."
