MIX – Connecting, Creating, Living is a mental health community day service offering programmes in wellbeing and art.

MIX is a not for profit community mental health day service.

MIX offers support to people with a range of experiences. Participants have clinical support however, for most, they do not have the non-clinical support or space to be where they are included for who they are, and to be supported to be themselves, and to reach their full potential.

MIX offers an inclusive and supportive space which aims to foster self-determination and wellbeing.

We have two daily programmes: Wellbeing & Community programme and Creative Space programme. All MIX Participants can access either, or both programmes to ensure their needs are fully met.

We work so that individuals have an understanding of their holistic health, using the Te whare tapa whā at MIX supports us to ensure our programmes are considering our Taha tinana (physical health), Taha wairua (spiritual health), Taha whānau (family health) and Taha hinengaro (mental health).
