The Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) is a science and technology hub of learning and experiences and is New Zealand’s largest transport and technology museum caring for an extensive transport and technology heritage collection.
As the science and technology playground of Aotearoa we use the technology and ingenuity of Aotearoa to educate and inspire the innovators of tomorrow. We do this through hands-on, minds-on discovery experiences for everyone from the early years to high school and beyond, engaging them with unique, creative, educational initiatives, exhibitions, and programming.
