Our goal is to advance the education of our members in the performing arts & to assist and encourage our members and all fellow New Zealand

Grants and financial assistance is provided, by way of a Scholarship fund available to member applicants, to fund study and development of productions. Affiliated societies provide their productions for judging throughout the year and an Annual Awards evening is produced to recognise excellence in these productions as well as facilitate increased contact between our members.

Grants have been applied to the Scholarship fund to enable ongoing assistance to our members for education at Universities and Drama institutes both in New Zealand and around the globe. Funding is also applied to the Annual Awards production in order to subsidise ticket prices to allow the maximum number of members to attend across all income ranges.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
