We've been restoring forests for over 40 years. We own and protect over 7500 hectares of native forest and wetland throughout the North and South Islands - nature reserves which are now protected for all New Zealanders forever.

The Native Forest Restoration Trust identifies native habitats that are under threat and acquires land of conservation value in order to protect it in perpetuity. We also involve volunteers in active restoration and preservation of this land, creating reserves which are open to the public.
